Jimmie V. Reyna Nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

Jimmie V. Reyna has been nominated to fill the open slot on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Reyna was one of the nominees named by President Obama last Wednesday.

The Court has nationwide jurisdiction of appeals arising from, among others, federal district courts, the Court of International Trade, the U.S., Court of Claims and a variety of agencies involving a number of subject matter areas, including international trade, government contracts, patents, trademarks, and certain money claims against the United States government. Mr. Reyna is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Williams Mullen. He is a leading legal expert on international trade.

Mr. Reyna is extraordinarily qualified to serve on the bench. He is an international trade legal scholar, prolific writer, extraordinary legal practitioner, and exceptional community leader. He is the author of several books on international trade and several articles.
